My zeal for architecture began in Los Angeles, where I was born and raised. Influenced by the post-modern and deconstructivist buildings I grow up around, I developed an appreciation for space and materials and unconsciously started moving toward a vocation in design and construction. I left Los Angeles for New Orleans to pursue higher education and to have a personal adventure. Enchanted with the decay and vibrance of the city, I decided to stay a bit longer after graduating. It was with a mix of excitement and nostalgia, I felt it was time to leave New Orleans and headed to Miami. I optimistically looked forward to expanding my perspective by enfolding South Florida's culture into my thinking and secured positions with award winning firms while there. Several years after having established myself I started to feel my career and heart pulling me west and home again.
